Little Harriers

nce again Little Harriers has achieved new heights in the childcare sector, & has recently been awarded with their third module for the Quality Assurance scheme launched in 2006.

he scheme, run by the Surrey County Council Early Years & Childcare, is in it’s pilot stages with only a few selected nurseries participating. Little Harriers joined the scheme in July 2006 and have already been awarded with a plaque to mark the achievement of their first module 'Being Healthy', and the second module 'Staying Safe'. They have also recently completed module three 'Enjoying and Achieving'.

ucy Verbrugge (Nursery Proprietor) says 'We put so much into making Little Harriers a warm and caring nursery, and this award recognises our achievement whilst giving parents extra peace of mind about the care we provide.'

he Quality Assurance consists of five modules which make up the whole accreditation. Once the pilot scheme is complete, Early Years & Childcare will use this as a quality kite mark for all childcare providers who meet the requirements to participate.
